Canadian screen actor best recognized for her performance in Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. She began starring in CBS' Blood & Treasure, beginning in 2019. Other roles include Earthstorm which aired in 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she starred in 2005. Silk has a father, Peter Silk, an academic who hails from Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and Ilkay Silk who is an actor, director and playwright teacher. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first memory is of being a watcher of her mother's work, in the kitchen and going to play rehearsals. Silk played a role as a youngster in many commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was responsible for two earlier productions of theatre. These included Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). Samuel Cooperman as well as Levi Levi Cooperman are parents to two sons. In 2009 she landed the lead role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Her performance as Bo along with Lauren as lovers of the same gender in Lost Girl was named one of the series's all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN and named the The Top TV Couple for the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. As a result of the show's success, Silk has gained an enviable internet following via social media.
